OG-1 The first salt in my collection in this group is the OG-1.It is Clear in color and listed as Extremely Rare by the Neals. This salt was manufactured at the glass factory of Bakewell and Page in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania between 1826 and 1840.The base on this salt is unique to this salt only where even rare salts in other molds share base patterns.
OG-2 OG-2 mold, Clear in color and listed as Rare by the Neals. This salt dish was manufactured at the New England Glass Company Boston.
OG-7
OG-7 mold in Clear glass and listed as rare by the Neal's. This salt is the only one with this basket weave design and strawberry on it. This one was manufactured at the New England Glass Company Boston between 1835 and 1850.
OG-10 OG-10 mold in clear listed as rare by Neal. This salt was manufactured at the Providence Flint Glass Works between 1830 and 1834. When this piece was pulled from the pressing machine a tad too much glass was used and a thin area on the inside of the scalloping has remained on the salt almost like a thin sharp window.
